When is a wheelchair more than just a wheelchair?

When is a wheelchair more than just a wheelchair?

At ATIA this year, we experienced a lot of great people, had great conversations, and explored great new products. What didn’t we expect to experience? A celebrity sighting! Bumblebee, the Transformer made an appearance with his awesome sidekick.

Magic Wheelchair

Ryan Weimer, the founder of Magic Wheelchair, creates magical wheelchair costumes for children. He started this endeavor several years ago for his son. Keaton wanted to be a pirate for Halloween. Ryan decided, he needed a Pirate Ship. That first epic costume started a great big epic endeavor.

Magic Wheelchair is a nonprofit organization that makes epic Halloween costumes for free. Ryan and his volunteer team are making kid’s imaginations come to life.

Thank you, Ryan and the Magic Wheelchair team of volunteers for all you do!
